For my blog this week I decided to reread the first chapter. The first chapter is interesting because it gives you an insight into Marji. we learn about her dreams and how she feels about the world. I feel that there a lot of things that happen within the first chapter. 1.The veils are required in schools. 2. The Islamic revolution starts 3. Bilingual schools are shut down 4. people were separated from their friends because they were of different sexes. 5. Marji tells us her dream of being a prophet, she also decided she wanted to write her own rulebook because she didn't like the new ones. 6. She tells other people her dream and they make fun of her so she decides to lie and say she wants to be a doctor when her parents ask her. 7. she also has a couple conversations with god about her dream of being a prophet and wanting to basically make the world a better place.
